And today, marks the day, my last and final day, at ACS (Barker Rd). A short period of 4-days of Mentorship actually extended to 2 weeks cum another 1 week of Relief period there after the sudden resignation of that new CCPE without serving his notice period. (So my stay at ACS ends up to be 3 weeks! 27 Sept to 17 Oct! ) And surprisingly, though i feel there isnt (actually is none at all.) much social life there, but i pretty much enjoy my stay, and i kinda like the school practices in certain areas ONLY, which other schools did not adopt.

I work well with my HOD (even though he is actually not considered my RO) & the Sports Secretary (: of course occasionally assisting the HOD of Student Development aka the Discipline Master. I must say the PE teachers there are all guys, and they look stunning. Hahaha!! Ok wth! I meant like they are like my eye candies in school (: (: (: all so sporty, tanned, HANDSOME omg! and of cos.... all married/attached already la DUH! -.- Anyway that's not the point, the point is, i learnt and i appreciae my time there despite the journey of travelling every morning.

I left an environment i'll never forget (just like how i did last month when i left Bedok Town) cos before i left the school, the HOD actually have a chit-chat session with me. It's an unexpected chat session of which he gives me the chance to open up to him my views and opinions of the school system, their practices and probably share with him my experience or any other practices that other school adopts... (since i've been a roving for a while!) I really like this sharing-session. Because i feel i have the freedom to share and open up to him my ideas and feedback, which is smth i've nv had the chance to do at the other schools. I feel appreciated to be given this opportunity. (: So whatever comes my way ahead... (which is my next posting, this time is permanent posting to Anglican High!) hopefully God will give me the strength to adapt well in a new environment, learn as much as possible, do not let my company's bullshit upset my status as a CCPE in the school... and most importantly, give my best in all that i can do. (:

God bless my 30 minutes of reluctant-morning-walk from home to MRT and from MRT to school for the next few months to come!

Hey everybody! After my fantastic life at Bedok Town, currently I'm on duty as a Mentor to a new CCPE at ... Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Rd) ... Yea... it's the secondary school... the all boys school... the... unexpectedly, notorious, rich kids school... haha! The school is located at Newton area, so every morning is like Journey to the Central...

Though yes it's pretty far, have to wake up earlier than usual, but after work it's kinda near my gym and so... i'm actually considering if i should really still opt for a posting to a school in the far East area where after work I have to drag my feet to the train station & travel from East to Raffles Place, then back to East again (Like super tedious isnt it?! -.-) Still thinking... Still thinking... (well... not like i have the power to make any decisions here!)

Anyway I pretty much enjoy my time at ACS (Barker) though, i mean... the CCPE jobscopes are pretty much okay~ though a little bit of Gebiz, like super LOTS of Cockpit entries & updates (seriously as busy as Bedok Town) seems like the CCPEs here are really working hard to their bones! But somehow just lack a little social life here. Ok.. as to, comparing the schools i'm in, i feel best, like really best, is at Bedok Town. Cos colleagues there are really friendly, you really feel to "home"... Any time down at canteen for breakfast, tea-break, lunch at lounge, chilling during the after-lunch pool sessions... seriously like Life there... (although it's hectic but at least 'Life' exists!!) is amazing...

In PRSS also not much of Life, after all i dont belong to the clique and it's kinda hard to be part of the group and get to the level of closeness among them. In ACS(Barker), basically, my direct colleagues in the PE Dept are all guys, range from late 20s to late 30s i guess? all married already, even though ya, they seem "cool", very sporty & active, and ya, guys are guys, since when it's easy for a young lady to be part of a grp of males who are much older than her?-.- well, maybe it just takes time for colleague-relationship to develop... but tt's not gonna happen when i'm leaving this friday already HAHA!

I'll be on an understudy (sort of like attachment) to Anglican High School as a potential CCPE being posted there. They have a new HOD PE/CCA though, and i did went for an interview earlier last week, they preferred a Male Chinese CCPE and must be well-versed in Mandarin. Haha. I kinda failed the criterias already but nevertheless, i was called down tmr to meet up with the new HOD. Wonder how things will go but anyway, just see how what's up for me. (:
